New allegations from Amber Heard’s therapy sessions reveal Jason Momoa may have intentionally provoked the actress while filming the highly anticipated DC sequel “Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom”.
According to legal documents made public after Heard’s defamation trial with ex-husband Johnny Depp, Heard told her therapist Momoa was dressing in Depp’s signature style of multi-fingered rings and bohemian outfits.
In one explosive therapy session in December 2021, Heard claimed Momoa was intoxicated on set and working behind the scenes to undermine her role. A rep for Warner Bros denied these accusations, stating Momoa conducted himself professionally. However, a source said the flashy “Game of Thrones” star naturally favors a casual look, fueling Heard’s belief he aim to rattle her.
Heard also alleged the studio hoped to replace her for lack of on-screen chemistry with Momoa before filming, not because of her legal battle with Depp. Then-boyfriend Elon Musk reportedly threatened Warner Bros in a letter, vowing to “destroy” them if they fired Heard. It appears Musk’s bold move paid off, as Heard remained in the sequel albeit with trimmed scenes, including a love scene cut from the final edit.
With its December release approaching, anticipation is high for “Aquaman 2” after the original’s box office success. But insider reports say test audiences have had lukewarm reactions, leading to rushed reshoots. As speculation mounts on the fallout of Heard and Depp’s legal war, Heard’s accusations shed new light on the drama unfolding behind the scenes of one of 2022’s most anticipated blockbusters.
