A real­i­ty TV star from the 16th sea­son of RuPaul’s Drag Race went near­ly unrec­og­niz­able at the 76th annu­al Prime­time Emmy Awards in Los Angeles. 

The Boston native, known as Plane Jane, stunned onlook­ers with her dra­mat­i­cal­ly altered appearance.

Plane Jane’s Transformation

Sport­ing a skintight red mini dress with dar­ing cleav­age, Plane Jane was a far cry from her look at the pre­vi­ous week’s MTV Awards, where she chan­neled pop sen­sa­tion Chap­pell Roan. 

With plumped lips, over­flow­ing bust, and body art cov­er­ing near­ly every inch, the real­i­ty star kept fans guess­ing as to her true identity.

Plane Jane’s Villain Edit on Drag Race

Plane Jane, whose real name is Andrew Vladimir Dunayevskiy, fin­ished third on Sea­son 16 of RuPaul’s Drag Race. 

She earned a rep­u­ta­tion as the sea­son’s vil­lain, often offer­ing unso­licit­ed advice and cri­tiques to her fel­low queens, which she seemed to embrace.

Emmy Awards Hosting and Record-Breaking Nominations

The 2024 Emmy Awards were host­ed for the first time by a father-son duo, Eugene Levy and Dan Levy, who made his­to­ry as the first to emcee the pres­ti­gious ceremony. 

This year’s event also saw sev­er­al shows, includ­ing The Bear and Shogun, receive record-break­ing nom­i­na­tion numbers.
