BUSINESS: Nissan recalls over 200,000 pickups over rollover risk

Nissan Motor will recall more than 203,000 pickup trucks in the US. The reason is that there is a possibility that the vehicle may roll over unexpectedly when the vehicle is shifted into the park.

Affected by the recall are 2020–2023 Frontier and Titan pickups.

Nissan recommends using the parking brake whenever the truck is parked.

According to the company, when the truck is shifted into park, the transmission’s parking pole does not engage. Ratchet keeps track from moving.

Nissan said it had no records of accidents or injuries.

Repairs are still ongoing.

After November 1st, we will send a letter to the owners and will let you know again as soon as we find a solution.
