Real Madrid are reportedly looking to sign two Manchester City stars in an ambitious double transfer.
The Spanish and European champions are looking to strengthen an already strong squad.
Real Madrid brought in Antonio Rudiger and Aurelien Tchouameni under Carlo Ancelotti this summer.
But the next two summers could be even bigger as Real look to undermine Man City, one of Europe’s main threats.
According to AS, Real are keen to rekindle interest in the 22-year-old, who has scored 14 goals in 11 appearances as the Premier League champions this season.
Haaland has a £161m release clause that runs until summer 2024, the transfer start date set by Real.
The striker, who had been in talks with Real before moving to City, chose to avoid competing with Karim Benzema and opted to sign at the Bernabéu.
Real also reportedly want to sign full-back Joao Cancelo.
The 29-year-old is under contract with the Etihad until the summer of 2027.
However, he is said to be available for a transfer fee of between €40m and €51m next summer.
Ancelotti has known the player well since his days as manager at Everton in the Premier League.
Cancello’s position will be filled by Ferland Mendy.
But despite being under contract until 2025, the Frenchman’s future at Real is in question.
Mendy’s demands are more than Real have to pay, so his contract renewal has been put on hold, in favor of Cancelo.
