Hakim Ziyech is undergoing a medical in France ahead of a move to Paris Saint-Germain after kicking two Premier League clubs.
Chelsea had decided to sell the Moroccan winger to make room for the team after a big show in January.
Ziyech, 29, has fallen out of favor at Stamford Bridge with the addition of Mihailo Mudrik, Joao Felix and Noni Madueke.
Now, Foot Mercato reports that negotiations are being finalized for Ziyechi’s loan move to PSG this season, while undergoing medical checks.
With Newcastle and Everton looking to sign a World Cup star, Roma also showed interest.
However, Ziyech has turned down an offer from England and wants to join Parc des Princes, where he can play alongside Lionel Messi, Kylian Mbappe and Neymar.
The former Ajax man is reportedly already talking to PSG’s stars about what’s on the horizon.
In Paris, he will be able to team up with his best friend and international teammate Abraham Hakimi.
In January, PSG were eager to sign a new winger to bolster their front line following the departure of Pablo Sarabia to Wolves.
Acquisitions of Lajan Cerki, Malcolm and Johan Bakayoko fell through due to financial constraints at the club, and they opted for loan transfers.
The deal with Ziyech doesn’t seem to include an option for a loan deal this summer.
In addition, there is information that he has already visited the French capital to finish negotiations by the deadline and undergo a medical check.
Jorginho’s move to Arsenal is still pending and Conor Gallagher wants Everton.
The Blues have put their hopes on securing the Argentina World Cup winner’s transfer record for Britain with a €130m bid for Enzo Fernandez on Monday night.
