LeBron James in panic : he could miss weeks with foot injury

ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski reported Monday that LeBron James could be out for several weeks with an injured right foot.

James is undergoing further tests and meetings to learn the full extent of the injuries sustained in the Los Angeles Lakers’ victory over the Dallas Mavericks on Sunday.

The Lakers previously announced that James would miss Tuesday night’s game against the Memphis Grizzlies with a sore right leg.

James, 38, was spotted limping after his game against the Mavs. Late in the third quarter, he fell to the floor in pain after driving for Dwight Powell in Dallas.

In an on-court interview after the game, Katie George told ESPN that he thought he stepped on Powell’s foot and felt uncomfortable, but replays revealed it was a non-contact injury.

In Sunday’s game, James scored 11 of 26 points in the fourth quarter and L.A. won three in a row, one game behind No. 10 in the Western Conference and two and a half games behind No. 6 Dallas. rice field.

During the All-Star season, James called the Lakers’ late season “23 of the most important games.” But now that L.A. is heading back to the postseason, he’s likely to miss some of them.

James missed three straight games before the All-Star break with a problem with his left foot and ankle. Since coming to Los Angeles, the Lakers are 36–62 (.367) without James, including a 5–9 record this season.

The Lakers also announced that they doubt starting point guard D’Angelo Russell will be available against Memphis. Russell missed the Mavs game with a sprained right ankle.

L.A. wrapped up Wednesday’s three-game road trip back-to-back with the Oklahoma City Thunder on Night 2 and is set to return home to host the Minnesota Timberwolves on Friday.
