Real Madrid are ‘sure’ of signing Jude Bellingham, a promising young player.
The 19-year-old star of Borussia Dortmund and England has been rumored with many Premier League clubs, including Manchester United, Manchester City, Liverpool and Chelsea.
Borussia Dortmund are currently offering around £130m for the player, whose current contract expires in 2025.
And there was no talk of a transfer to England for a while, but now there are reports that Real Madrid are working on the transfer of the former Birmingham player.
Sunsports revealed in December that they felt Real Madrid were desperate to sign Bellingham.
And according to The Independent, the Spanish champions are urging Dortmund players to join, describing the Bernabéu as “the best place for young European talent”.
Real Madrid won the Champions League last season with several young players playing an important role.
Vinicius Junior, Eduardo Camavinga, Federico Valverde and Eder Militao.
He then added Aurelien Tchouameni to the team.
And 16-year-old Brazilian player Endric recently agreed to move to the Spanish capital in 2024.
Real Madrid’s aim to make Bellingham a haven for world-class young talent is to undermine the financial power of the Premier League.
The English player has contributed 19 goals and 21 assists in 112 appearances for Dortmund since joining the Bundesliga in 2020.
He also shined in the World Cup with the Three Lions and continued to prove himself as one of the best midfielders in the world.
Dortmund are currently sixth in the Bundesliga, six points behind leaders Bayern Munich.
In the Champions League, they advanced to the last 16 and faced Chelsea.
