Three Premier League clubs are in ‘contact’ with Ansu Fati over a possible summer move.
The 20-year-old Spanish striker has a contract with Barcelona until 2027.
The LaLiga giants are reluctant to let the star striker go, but they could be forced to cash in given the club’s current financial situation.
Manchester United, Arsenal and Liverpool have all been linked to Fati, whose current contract includes a world-record €1 billion release clause.
And according to a new report, the three have already been in contact with the striker and are planning a record bid for the club.
According to journalist Ben Jacobs, “Manchester United, Arsenal and Liverpool have been approached about signing Ansu Fati.”
“There are no negotiations with Barcelona yet, but a club record offer would suffice due to Barca’s financial problems.”
Fati is believed to be creating an increasingly disturbing atmosphere at the Camp Nou due to his lack of appearances.
In 2020, he made his senior debut at the young age of 17, and was regarded as his next rising star.
However, his knee injury continued to hamper Fati’s development.
He has made 30 appearances this season, starting nine times and making just two full appearances.
Since his break, he has scored 18 goals in 61 top-flight appearances.
