Manchester United have reportedly offer to sign Al Nasr striker Vincent Abubakar on loan.

Erik Ten Hag’s side have kept a clean sheet and won every game since the season restarted after the World Cup.

Victories over Nottingham Forest, Wolves and Bournemouth pushed the Red Devils past Tottenham and into the top four.

However, Ten Hag is keen to secure a striker this month.

Anthony Martial and Marcus Rashford are the only options, the latter generally performing better on the left flank.

This was after Cristiano Ronaldo left after a dispute with the club.

And United are now eyeing one of the Portuguese superstar’s new teammates, Abobacar.

Ronaldo’s arrival could pave the way for a return to Europe, with Al Nasr considering releasing the player to make room for the 37-year-old.

According to the Saudi daily Okaz, the Old Trafford club have made an offer to sign him on loan for the rest of the season.

United are in pole position to sign the 30-year-old, but reports from the Middle East point to Turkey’s Fenerbahce as a contender.

The Cameroon international has a wealth of experience, scoring over 100 goals for Lorient, Porto and Vesiktas.

Abubakar has 95 caps for his country and scored twice in stoppage time against Brazil at the World Cup.
