PSG president Nasser Al-Khelaifi has confirmed that he will be in talks with Marcus Rashford in January.
His contract at Old Trafford expires at the end of the season and he will be able to negotiate a pre-contract deal with clubs in the new year.
Rashford has scored eight goals and three assists in 19 appearances in all competitions this season, nearing his personal best.
At the Qatar World Cup, he was even more successful on the big stage, scoring three goals for England.
The form has sparked interest across Europe and even Al-Khelaifi admits he is a great player.
Al-Khelaifi has admitted that he is a great player, saying: “He’s a great player too. If you get Rashford for free, every club will go after him.
“Obviously, we’ve been talking about it for some time and we were interested, but the timing just wasn’t right for both sides.
“Maybe in the summer, for some reason, if he’s a free agent, we can talk directly.
“But now we will not talk about it and will focus on the World Cup.
“In January, you’ll want to talk to him.”
Talks about Rashford’s future would not go well at Manchester United.
The Red Devils want to keep the former youth star on board and have the option to extend his current contract of €232,000 a week for 12 more months.
PSG could see Rashford as a replacement for Lionel Messi, who is also out of contract at the end of the season.
