Barça defender Araujo will say no to offers from the two biggest clubs in the Premier League.

Major Premier League clubs such as Liverpool and Manchester United have shown interest in FC Barcelona defender Ronald Araujo, whose contract expires in 2023.

Unfortunately for these clubs, the Barca centre-back is set to extend his contract under Xavi.
The statements of the Uruguayan international after the victory in Sevilla was an opportunity for him to confirm his desire to continue in Spain:
“We are working on a new agreement. There are more meetings this week and it will soon be resolved because I want to stay at this club for many years.”

23-year-old Ronald Araujo has only missed a few games with the Barcelona team.
It is nevertheless seen as a solution to solve the big defensive problems that Manchester United have been experiencing for several seasons already.

Or even a reinforcement of size for the defense of Liverpool which will probably lose Joe Gomez at the end of the season.
With a reconstruction project that already shows positive signs, it would be difficult for Xavi and FC Barcelona to part with a sure value from its workforce.
