Bloodied on Instagram, Mason Greenwood’s girlfriend Harriet Robson accuses him of abuse.

Man­ches­ter Unit­ed have released a state­ment to say they are ‘aware of the footage’

The first showed the mod­el with blood pour­ing down her chin, neck and chest from what appeared to be a gash on her lip.

She cap­tioned the short video, “To any­one who wants to know what Mason Green­wood is actu­al­ly doing to me.”

She then shared five pho­tos show­ing deep bruis­es on her arms and legs, as well as a blood­shot red eye.

Har­ri­et, who has 213,000 sub­scribers, then post­ed a series of voice notes from Octo­ber 2021 that appeared to fur­ther demon­strate the alleged abuse of 20-year-old Greenwood.

Man­ches­ter Unit­ed said they were aware of the footage, which has since been delet­ed, but would not com­ment further.

A club spokesper­son added: “We are aware of the images and alle­ga­tions cir­cu­lat­ing on social media.

“We will make no fur­ther com­ment until the facts are established.

“Man­ches­ter Unit­ed does not tol­er­ate any form of violence.”

Greater Man­ches­ter Police con­firmed offi­cers are inves­ti­gat­ing the allegations.

A spokesper­son for the force added: “Greater Man­ches­ter Police are aware of the images and videos cir­cu­lat­ing on social media.

“Inves­ti­ga­tions are under­way to estab­lish all the circumstances.”

Char­i­ty Wom­en’s Aid released a state­ment in response to the claims which read: “Dis­tress­ing mes­sages are cir­cu­lat­ing on social media today #MasonGreen­wood.
