PARIS SAINT-GERMAIN are considering a transfer for Cristiano Ronaldo at the end of the season, according to reports.
The Portuguese is unhappy with Manchester United’s form this season and SunSport revealed earlier this week he could look to leave if he doesn’t finish in the top four.
Nonetheless, given their wealth, PSG are perhaps the most likely destination.
For the Mirror, the French giants are considering offering the five-time Ballon d’Or winner a 12-month contract.
This would see him join seven-time winner Lionel Messi, 34, at the Parc des Princes.
PSG look all but certain to lose Kylian Mbappe, who was sensational in their 1–0 win over Real Madrid on Tuesday night, to the Spanish giants this summer.
They could see Ronaldo as an ideal short-term replacement for the 23-year-old.
The move would see Mauricio Pochettino given a veteran attacking line of Ronaldo, Messi and Neymar — with a combined age of 101.
Ronaldo is due to meet agent Jorge Mendes next month as they plot what to do this summer.
The guaranteed place in the Champions League offered to PSG would please the five-time winner of the competition.
He has enjoyed good success in Europe this season, scoring six goals in five group stage appearances before Christmas.
That compares favorably to his Premier League record, in which he bagged nine in 21 games.
