An anonymous international hacker group has deleted more than 300 websites of Russian government agencies, state media, banks, as well as websites of major Belarusian banks, including Belarusbank, Priorbank and Belinvestbank.
“Anonymous has taken down over 300 Russian government, state media and bank websites in the last 48 hours, most of which are currently offline,” the hacker group said on Twitter.
Anonymous also leaked the database of Russia’s Sberbank into the network and deleted the website of the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of the Russian Federation.
We are deleting the Russian financial and governmental cyber system as they move with their troops to Ukraine, Anonymous added.
In addition, Anonymous hacked into the websites of major Belarusian banks, including Belarusbank, Priorbank and Belinvestbank. Access to belarusbank.by, priorbank.by, belinvestbank.by is denied.
Earlier, the international hacker group Anonymous hacked the website of the Chechen Republic.
