Barcelona almost confirm hiring Chelsea’s Christensen and AC Milan’s Kessie by publicizing transfers for next season.

Barcelona chair­man Joan Lapor­ta has all but ver­i­fied the sign­ings of Chelsea cen­tre- back Andreas Chris­tensen and AC Milan mid­field­er Franck Kessie.
The brace are both out of con­tract in the sum­mer and have been free to talk to for­eign clubs since January.

Den­mark play­er Chris­tensen has been heav­i­ly linked with a switch to the Nou Camp as he seeks a new chal­lenge abroad.

It has indeed been stat­ed that such­like is his desire to join the Cata­lan club, he has reject­ed offers from oth­er Eng­lish sides due to his fideli­ty for Chelsea.

And there were indeed claims that Kessie had com­plet­ed a med­ical where he’s due to fund $137 000-a-week.

Bar­ca chair­man Lapor­ta has now revealed that the club have sub­scribed two play­ers for com­ing term, though he failed to name who.

He told RAC1“We have com­plet­ed two sign­ings for the com­ing season.

“One is a mid­field­er, the oth­er one is a cen­tre- back.

“But I am not allowed to men­tion their names.”

Opin­ing on his com­ments, trans­fer guru Fab­rizio Romano twittered“Of course, Franck Kessie and Andreas Chris­tensen deals are both com­plete­ly agreed.”

Lapor­ta also observed on implic­it deals to sub­scribe Kylian Mbappe and Erling Haa­land, but played down either play­er joining.

He said“Haaland or Mbappe to Barça?

“The con­di­tions I have been told about these two deals. we would noway accept to spend those num­bers, no way. I see both of them tru­ly far from Barca.”
