Omani international Mukhaled Al-Raqadi,aged 29 dies during a warm-up before a Muscat FC game.

Omani inter­na­tion­al Mukhaled Al-Raqa­di has died after col­laps­ing while warm­ing up for a top domes­tic match.

The Mus­cat defend­er is said to have suf­fered a heart attack before his team’s Oman­tel league clash with Suwaiq.

The 29-year-old was tak­en to hos­pi­tal by ambu­lance but sad­ly died fol­low­ing the inci­dent on Wednesday.

Mus­cat broke the news of Al-Raqadi’s death through a mes­sage on Twitter.

Who said: “With faith­ful hearts accept­ing the will of God, the board of direc­tors of the Mus­cat sports club and all its affil­i­ates offer their sin­cere con­do­lences to the fam­i­ly of Al-Raqadi.

“We ask God to have mer­cy on him. To God we belong and to God we will return. ”
