Harry Kane has offered a positive injury update after being substituted during England’s victory against Switzerland.

The England captain bizarrely collided with manager Gareth Southgate on the touchline, as he fell awkwardly on a cool box while challenging for the ball.

Kane revealed he suffered cramp in both calves and was “just tired” when he was replaced by Ivan Toney. The 30-year-old striker expressed confidence in being fit to start in England’s upcoming semi-final clash against the Netherlands.

The England captain also praised Bukayo Saka’s impressive performance, particularly the Arsenal star’s ability to score the decisive penalty in the shootout.

Kane lauded Saka’s character and resilience, noting his exhaustion after 120 minutes of play.
