Manchester United was held to a 1–1 draw against Burnley at Old Trafford on Saturday after a late penalty converted by Burnley’s Zeki Amdouni.

The result left United in sixth place in the Premier League standings, adding further pressure on manager Erik ten Hag.

Burnley’s 87th-minute penalty was awarded after Manchester United goalkeeper Andre Onana fouled Amdouni in the box, canceling out Antony’s 79th-minute strike that had put the home side ahead.

Despite their dominance throughout the match, United struggled to find the back of the net, and the draw has left fans frustrated.

While the result was not ideal for Manchester United, Burnley will be pleased with their resilient performance. As they fight to avoid relegation, every point matters.

For United, the focus now shifts to their upcoming matches as they aim to climb the table and secure a spot in European competitions next season.
