The contract situation of Kylian Mbappé, one of the best players in the world, has been a headache for PSG manager Luis Enrique.
Mbappé has not agreed to renew his contract with the club, which runs out in 2024, and has been left out of the starting lineup as a result. Enrique hopes that Mbappé and PSG can find a way to resolve the Mbappé contract issues, as they did last year when the French star signed an extension after rejecting a transfer to Real Madrid.
Enrique did not want to talk about other players who might be on their way out of PSG, such as Neymar and Verratti.
He only confirmed that Dembélé is close to joining the club from Barcelona. Enrique said he wants to play an attractive, aggressive style of football at PSG, and that he is happy with the intensity and enthusiasm of the players in training.
He said he wants to give joy to the fans by winning trophies, especially the Champions League, which has eluded PSG so far.
