Mbappé Contract Issues: PSG Manager Hopes for a Solution

The con­tract sit­u­a­tion of Kylian Mbap­pé, one of the best play­ers in the world, has been a headache for PSG man­ag­er Luis Enrique.

Mbap­pé has not agreed to renew his con­tract with the club, which runs out in 2024, and has been left out of the start­ing line­up as a result. Enrique hopes that Mbap­pé and PSG can find a way to resolve the Mbap­pé con­tract issues, as they did last year when the French star signed an exten­sion after reject­ing a trans­fer to Real Madrid.

Enrique did not want to talk about oth­er play­ers who might be on their way out of PSG, such as Ney­mar and Verratti.

He only con­firmed that Dem­bélé is close to join­ing the club from Barcelona. Enrique said he wants to play an attrac­tive, aggres­sive style of foot­ball at PSG, and that he is hap­py with the inten­si­ty and enthu­si­asm of the play­ers in training. 

He said he wants to give joy to the fans by win­ning tro­phies, espe­cial­ly the Cham­pi­ons League, which has elud­ed PSG so far.
