Hollywood in Premier League : actor Tom Hanks stunned by Ollie Watkins’ goal against Arsenal

Hol­ly­wood actor Tom Han­ks seemed stunned when Ollie Watkins scored Aston Vil­la’s open­ing goal against Arse­nal on Saturday.

The Hol­ly­wood star was spot­ted at Vil­la Park ahead of Vil­la’s Pre­mier League game against title chal­lengers Arsenal.

After meet­ing Unai Emery’s team in the dress­ing room before the game, Han­ks was seen enjoy­ing the game from his box.

In a 2013 Chan­nel 5 inter­view, Han­ks con­firmed his sup­port for Vil­la, say­ing: Well, I’ve seen Vil­la play once, and it was a friend­ly in America.

It was an Amer­i­can friend­ly. I have a good friend who lives and lives in Aston Vil­la and he’s in Los Ange­les so he keeps me up to date.

When­ev­er I watch a foot­ball match on the foot­ball chan­nel, it’s always West Ham vs Man Unit­ed, Tot­ten­ham vs Queens Park Rangers. Bring me the vil­la! Bring me the villa! ”.
