With the average price of a house in the UK being $361,919, you might want to rethink buying on dry land and instead buy a property that sails the seas.
MV Narrative is a “residential community at sea” and offers one to four bedroom apartments and studios for sale.
Florida-based Storylines shared renderings of the 226m-long vessel, with 547 residences aboard.
The huge yacht is being built in Croatia and is expected to be launched in 2024, reports Daily Mail.
The storylines state that their primary goal is to “provide more affordable entry-level options in the condo market.”
However, the ‘all-inclusive’ offer will still require living expenses, which will cover maintenance and food costs, which will set you back between $65,000 and $200,000 per unit and per year.
Each apartment will be furnished with “Italian-designed” furnishings and will be equipped with flat-screen televisions, “air-conditioning” systems, adjustable mood lighting and stereo speakers, etc.
There is also a 24/7 home delivery service where residents can eat at 20 bars and restaurants.
On the entertainment side, a cinema, a microbrewery, three swimming pools and a library of 10,000 books will also be present on the giant ship.
Oh and there’s a spa and wellness center, including a salon for fresh skin, a yoga studio, and a hot tub.
Lectures and workshops will also be offered “on and off” the ship if your thirst for knowledge requires it.
A statement adds: “Residents are encouraged to form special interest clubs; maybe you are passionate about chess, photography, wine, astronomy or bridge?
“Friends and family of Storylines residents are welcome! Invite a friend over for a month, your kids for a week, or create everlasting memories with your grandkids for an entire summer.
“If you wish, Storylines will even take care of renting your residence while you’re away.”
