Friends of Swedish musician Camela Leierth-Segura are desperate for answers after the 48-year-old singer vanished without a trace in Beverly Hills.
Leierth-Segura, who co-wrote Katy Perry’s 2013 hit “Walking On Air,” was last seen on June 29th after being recently evicted from her rental home.
Struggling financially and unable to pay rent, Leierth-Segura’s personal items and pet cat were left behind at the property. Her concerned sister in Sweden and friends have been unable to contact her since, despite filing a missing person’s report with police.
Weeks later, there are still no solid leads in the baffling disappearance. “She means the world to us and time is of the essence,” a distraught friend pleaded on social media. In addition to her songwriting success with Perry, Leierth-Segura was a talented solo artist and worked with Swedish band Kent.
Now, her silver 2010 Ford Fusion is also missing from the upscale LA neighborhood. As fear grows with each passing day, those closest to her worry foul play may be involved. Despite their best cooperation, police have turned up nothing. Anyone with information on Leierth-Segura’s whereabouts is urged to come forward immediately in this highly unusual case.
