Kanye West’s once-grand Californian estate has undergone a dramatic transformation. Purchased in 2018 for $2.2 million, the 300-acre Calabasas ranch was a center for creativity, hosting Sunday Service gatherings and serving as the headquarters for West’s Donda Academy.

However, recent images expose a starkly different reality. The property now lies in disarray, with a gaping hole at the entrance and debris littering the grounds.

West’s Ambitious Dreams Left in Ruins

The ambitious “Yeezy Home” project, envisioned as 50-foot prefabricated “Yecosystems” to provide housing for the homeless, seems to have vanished without a trace. These prominent domes, once a cornerstone of West’s vision, are absent from the dilapidated landscape.

Kim Kardashian’s Opulent Oasis

In stark contrast, Kim Kardashian resides in a lavish $60 million Hidden Hills estate, a mere 8 miles away. Finalized in November 2022, their divorce included Kardashian acquiring the Calabasas mansion, originally purchased by the couple in 2014 for $20 million and extensively redesigned by West.

A Tale of Two Estates

The differing fates of their estates symbolize the contrasting realities of their post-divorce lives. Kardashian basks in the comfort of their pristine mansion, while West reportedly inhabits a $20,000-per-month West Hollywood apartment. The abandoned Calabasas ranch stands as a haunting reminder of Kanye West’s bygone dreams.
