Justin Timberlake reportedly ordered a famous cocktail made popular by fictional spy James Bond before his DWI arrest in the Hamptons last week.

According to sources, the singer had a “Vesper Martini” from the menu at the American Hotel in Sag Harbor on the night he was later pulled over and arrested for drunk driving.

The potent drink contains only spirits — Grey Goose vodka, Tanqueray gin and Lillet Blanc wine — with no mixer, earning its reputation as “not for the faint of heart.”

Timberlake told police he’d only consumed one martini, but failed a field sobriety test and refused a breathalyzer. He has pleaded not guilty and faces charges and potential jail time if convicted.

The Vesper Martini originates from Ian Fleming’s first Bond novel Casino Royale. It remains a staple cocktail referenced in later Bond films and found on menus worldwide thanks to the super spy’s penchant for the high-proof libation.

Timberlake’s choice of beverage and ensuing arrest have raised questions about whether the celebrated musician faces further legal consequences or career fallout from the DWI charges. As more details emerge, the saga promises ongoing scrutiny of one of pop music’s biggest stars.
