At the Cannes Film Festival premiere for “Marcello Mio,” Kelly Rowland found herself in a heated exchange with a security guard. A lip reader has stepped forward to shed light on what exactly transpired during this red carpet confrontation.

According to Jacqui Press, who analyzed the footage, the situation initially appeared calm. Rowland politely reassured the guard, “It’s OK,” after accidentally stepping on her dress. However, things escalated quickly.

Press, speaking to MailOnline, revealed that the security guard’s response, though unclear in the video, was apparently enough to upset Rowland. The singer responded with a firm, “Don’t talk to me like that.”

Despite the guard’s attempt to maintain composure and usher Rowland up the stairs, the singer remained visibly frustrated. Video shows Rowland repeatedly turning back, wagging her finger, and emphasizing, “Don’t talk to me like that!”

A male security guard also approached the scene, but Rowland stood her ground, reiterating one last time, “You still don’t talk to me like that!”

While the exact trigger for Rowland’s reaction remains unknown, online speculation points towards the security guard’s tone or language.

This incident marks the second time Rowland has asserted herself in a public setting this year. Back in February, she sparked controversy by leaving the set of the “Today” show due to dressing room issues.
