Dawn Richard Accuses Combs of Abuse

For­mer Dan­i­ty Kane mem­ber Dawn Richard has sued Sean ‘Did­dy’ Combs, alleg­ing that the rap­per ‘ter­ror­ized and sex­u­al­ly abused’ her dur­ing her time on his MTV series Mak­ing the Band and as part of his girl group.

Alleged Mistreatment and Verbal Abuse

In the law­suit, Richard claims Combs forced her to endure pun­ish­ing 48-hour rehearsals with­out breaks, lead­ing to health issues. She also alleges he ver­bal­ly abused female con­tes­tants, call­ing them deroga­to­ry names.

Accusations of Sexual Misconduct

Richard fur­ther alleges that Combs inap­pro­pri­ate­ly touched her, enter­ing her dress­ing room while she was undressed and plac­ing his hands on her breasts and but­tocks. She also claims he locked her in a car for two hours.

The singer says she wit­nessed Combs phys­i­cal­ly assault­ing his ex-girl­friends Kim Porter and Cassie, includ­ing throw­ing a hot pan of eggs at Cassie.
