This heartbreaking story details the tragic loss of 3‑year-old Levi Wright, son of renowned rodeo star Spencer Wright. Levi’s family shared the difficult decision to remove him from life support after a near-drowning accident on May 21st.

Levi wandered away and fell into a fast-moving river on the family’s Utah property. His mother, Kallie, heroically retrieved him from the water and rushed him to the hospital. Though doctors revived Levi’s heartbeat, he remained unconscious and was declared brain dead.

Despite initial signs of progress, Levi’s condition couldn’t be sustained. In a poignant Facebook post, Kallie expressed the family’s agonizing choice, acknowledging it as their “biggest fear” but “the best thing we can do for him.”

The Wright family, deeply embedded in the rodeo community (Spencer holds the 35th world ranking), has received an overwhelming wave of support.

This tragedy has left them shattered, yet they find solace in the belief that Levi will be “restored” and embraced by angels. Their courage in letting go resonates with many, a testament to their unwavering love for their son.
