Bear Selfie Gone Wrong! Tourist Mauled in Romania

Close Call in the Carpathi­ans! A Scot­tish tourist on a Roman­ian road trip got way more than a self­ie with a bear. Moira Gal­lach­er, 72, end­ed up with a mauled arm after try­ing to snap a pic with the wild bru­in while dri­ving through the Carpathi­an Mountains.

Win­dow Down, Dis­as­ter Found! Gal­lach­er rolled down her win­dow for the per­fect shot, but the bear was­n’t feel­ing it. The ani­mal attacked, leav­ing Gal­lach­er with a scary sou­venir. Luck­i­ly, her friend Charmi­an slammed on the gas and got them out­ta there! ️

M&S Coat to the Res­cue! Gal­lach­er cred­its her trusty M&S coat (major props!) for stop­ping the attack from being even worse. “The bear got my coat, not me!” she said. Phew! This is a seri­ous reminder to respect wildlife and keep your dis­tance. Wild ani­mals are unpre­dictable, folks!
