Bey­on­cé is close to mak­ing a sharp U‑turn after years of polit­i­cal cau­tion by open­ly endors­ing Kamala Har­ris for pres­i­dent, accord­ing to sources close to the superstar. 

The mul­ti-Gram­my win­ner, 42, has already giv­en the vice pres­i­dent per­mis­sion to use her songs in her pres­i­den­tial cam­paign, but is set to go far fur­ther by donat­ing to and endors­ing Har­ris because she believes the ‘stakes are too high’ to remain silent.

Granting Permission to Use Her Songs

The hit­mak­er is known to main­tain strict clear­ance guide­lines when it comes to her music, but was quick to grant Har­ris per­mis­sion for the song “Free­dom,” a source close to the Democ­ra­t’s cam­paign told CNN.

It was claimed that the cam­paign team asked for con­sent just hours before Har­ris made her debut at her elec­tion headquarters.

The move came after Bey­on­cé’s moth­er, Tina Knowles, revealed her excite­ment for a Har­ris run, call­ing her ‘new, youth­ful, sharp’ in an Insta­gram post.

Knowles, along­side a pho­to of her with Har­ris, wrote: ‘You asked for it and our Pres­i­dent Biden did what was best for the country!’

Clearing Schedule to Attend Fundraiser

‘Bey­on­cé has cleared her sched­ule to attend a Kamala Har­ris fundrais­er,’ an insid­er claimed to DailyMail.

The source said the singer had delib­er­ate­ly tak­en a step back from pol­i­tics after host­ing a fundrais­ing cam­paign with her hus­band Jay‑Z for Barack Oba­ma in 2012.

Donation Plans for the Campaign
