'Bin Laden Killer' Celebrates Anniversary Days After Alleged Assault Arrest

Just days after his controversial arrest in Texas, the former Navy SEAL who took down 9/11 mastermind Osama bin Laden showed no signs of marital strife, professing his love for his wife on their wedding anniversary.

Robert O’Neill, known for his role in the 2011 Pakistan raid, found himself in hot water after an alleged assault at a cigar lounge led to his arrest. However, the self-proclaimed “Bin Laden killer” appeared in good spirits as he paid tribute to his partner.

Taking to Instagram following the Wednesday incident, the 47-year-old patriotically penned a sweet message for his wife Jessica on their special day. O’Neill shared intimate photos of the loving couple, eliciting hundreds of well-wishes from supporters.

While O’Neill chose not to directly address the legal troubles stemming from the high-profile arrest, law enforcement sources say he was charged with assault and public intoxication before posting bail.

Past brushes with the law include an aviation dust-up and drunken driving case. But following a career serving with SEAL Team 6, O’Neill seems determined to put the latest drama behind him as he embraces family.

As details of the alleged altercation remain murky, the Special Forces veteran is seeking to redirect focus back to the mission — celebrating his marriage on social media despite uncertainty looming over his legal fate.
