A 3‑year-old boy in Buffalo, New York, was tragically shot and killed while riding his tricycle on June 21st. The victim, Ramone Carter, and his 7‑year-old sister, Jamia Griffin, were not the intended targets.

Two teenage boys, aged 14 and 16, have been charged with murder, attempted murder, assault, and weapons possession in connection with the shooting.

The identities of the suspects are being withheld due to their age. The 16-year-old could face adult sentencing if convicted.

Buffalo Mayor Byron Brown expressed outrage, calling it “babies killing babies.” Police Commissioner Joseph Gramaglia commended witness cooperation leading to the arrests.
