Daughter of Lowe’s Exec Killed in Porsche Crash Near $2.6M Mansion

The 16-year-old daugh­ter of Lowe’s VP Chris Bright died when her Porsche crashed into a tree near the fam­i­ly’s North Car­oli­na home. 

Stel­la Bright was speed­ing alone in her 2014 Porsche 911 when it flew off the road, strik­ing a tree and wall.

Bright and a pas­sen­ger wore seat­belts but sur­vived with injuries. Anoth­er pas­sen­ger rode unre­strained in the back­less sports car. Inves­ti­ga­tors found speed caused the crash less than two miles from the Brights’ $2.6 mil­lion lake house.

It’s unknown if Stel­la owned the Porsche, which can reach 200 mph. Her twin Olivia post­ed of her “oth­er half” gone too soon. Friends called Stel­la “beau­ti­ful” and able to “make peo­ple smile.” Team­mate Joce­lyn said Stel­la was “car­ing, kind and tal­ent­ed” and “always put a smile on faces.”
