Dead Baby Found Near Dormitory at University of Tampa: Investigation Underway 🏫💔

A trag­ic dis­cov­ery was made on the cam­pus of the Uni­ver­si­ty of Tam­pa late Sun­day night, as police found the body of a deceased infant near McK­ay Hall, one of the uni­ver­si­ty’s dormitories. 

The Tam­pa Police Depart­ment respond­ed to the scene and launched an inves­ti­ga­tion into the cir­cum­stances sur­round­ing the infan­t’s death.

Foren­sic teams were observed at the site, and stu­dents received a cam­pus alert via text mes­sage, urg­ing them to avoid the area and assur­ing them that there was no imme­di­ate threat to the cam­pus community.

The cam­pus com­mu­ni­ty mourns the loss of the baby and awaits updates from law enforce­ment on the case.
