Late Sat­ur­day night, Rich­land Coun­ty Sher­if­f’s Depart­ment deputies made a grim dis­cov­ery in Colum­bia, South Car­oli­na. Two adult men were found dead inside a vehi­cle, prompt­ing a dou­ble homi­cide investigation.

On Sat­ur­day, Octo­ber 7, 2023, at approx­i­mate­ly 10:30 p.m., law enforce­ment respond­ed to reports of a shoot­ing in the 300 block of Koon Store Road. This area is locat­ed in a rur­al part of Colum­bia, sit­u­at­ed between U.S. 21/Wilson Boule­vard and S.C. 215/Monticello Road.
