Explosive Scare at Trump Rally

Police report­ed­ly dis­cov­ered explo­sives in a car near the site of for­mer Pres­i­dent Don­ald Trump’s ral­ly on Long Island, just hours before the event was set to take place. 

This devel­op­ment comes just three days after a sec­ond assas­si­na­tion attempt on the for­mer president.

Security Breach at Trump Rally Site

Sources with­in the Nas­sau Coun­ty Police Depart­ment alleged­ly informed jour­nal­ist James Lali­no that the ral­ly site’s perime­ter had been breached, and a blue bar­rel was removed from the scene. Dur­ing a sub­se­quent K9 sweep, the police report­ed­ly found an explo­sive device in one of the vehicles.

Attempted Assassination of Trump

This lat­est secu­ri­ty inci­dent fol­lows two recent attempts on Trump’s life. Just three days ago, a gun­man point­ed an AK-47 at the for­mer pres­i­dent while he was play­ing golf at the Trump Inter­na­tion­al Golf Course in West Palm Beach, Flori­da. Pri­or to that, Trump was shot in the right ear dur­ing a ral­ly in But­ler, Penn­syl­va­nia, in July.

Heightened Security Concerns

The dis­cov­ery of explo­sives near the ral­ly site has raised seri­ous con­cerns about the safe­ty and secu­ri­ty of Trump’s events. 

With thou­sands of MAGA sup­port­ers expect­ed to attend the Long Island ral­ly, the police and Secret Ser­vice will need to take extra pre­cau­tions to ensure the safe­ty of all attendees.

Ongoing Investigations

The Nas­sau Coun­ty Police Depart­ment has stat­ed that they are work­ing on an email response to address the alleged secu­ri­ty incident.
