German Man Arrested After Bizarre Grindr Encounter Leaves Man with Apple Stuck Up His Backside

Bizarre Allegations of Assault

A Ger­man man has been arrest­ed in Major­ca on sus­pi­cion of sex­u­al assault after a man he met on gay dat­ing app Grindr end­ed up in hos­pi­tal with an apple stuck up his backside. 

The patient was able to expel one piece of fruit by him­self but had to seek med­ical help to free the oth­er after suf­fer­ing ‘seri­ous injuries’.

Drugging and Nonconsensual Acts Alleged

Detec­tives began inves­ti­gat­ing the alleged assault after the vic­tim left the hos­pi­tal and went to police, claim­ing the apples had been intro­duced inside him with­out his con­sent after he was drugged dur­ing an ‘out-of-con­trol’ sex game in the island cap­i­tal Palma.

Local reports said the vic­tim had agreed to some ‘unortho­dox’ sex­u­al prac­tices involv­ing small objects, but not the one that left him need­ing hos­pi­tal treatment.

Ongoing Investigation and Arrest

Police con­firmed the arrest on Wednes­day, say­ing an inves­ti­ga­tion into the man’s claims was ongoing. 

The Ger­man detainee lives in Major­ca, and the alleged sex crime is said to have occurred at his home in Pal­ma. He was arrest­ed on Tues­day, but it’s unclear if he has appeared before a judge yet.

Likely Bail Pending Investigation

A Nation­al Police source said they are ‘still inves­ti­gat­ing despite the arrest.’ The unnamed Ger­man man is like­ly to be bailed fol­low­ing a court appear­ance, pend­ing the out­come of the crim­i­nal investigation.
