Major bum­mer, fam! Long­time enter­tain­ment reporter Sam Rubin, known for dish­ing the hottest celeb goss on KTLA and This Morn­ing, trag­i­cal­ly passed away at 64.

Just a day after rock­ing his usu­al KTLA seg­ment, Rubin suf­fered a heart attack at his Hol­ly­wood home. Rushed to the hos­pi­tal, but it was­n’t meant to be.

“Hol­ly­wood Sam” Remembered

Rubin was a total OG in the enter­tain­ment game, cov­er­ing all things movies and TV for KTLA since 1991. He was tight with celebs, and they all knew him as the friend­ly “Hol­ly­wood Sam.”

His infec­tious laugh, killer charm, and epic inter­view skills with celebs will leave a huge hole in our hearts. Rest in peace, Sam. You’ll be deeply missed by fans and every­one who knew you. ✌
