In a shocking incident in Houston, Texas, a 46-year-old attorney, Jeffrey Limmer, was shot and killed by an enraged McDonald’s customer who became violent after a dispute over his order. The tragedy unfolded on Saturday evening at a McDonald’s location on the West Interstate Highway 10 service road.

According to the police, the customer was demanding a refund from an employee when Limmer, who was a regular at the restaurant near his home, tried to intervene and calm the situation. However, instead of de-escalating the confrontation, the customer turned his aggression towards Limmer, and the two men began to argue.

The altercation then turned physical, with Limmer shoving the customer to the ground in the parking lot. The customer then retrieved a gun from his car and shot Limmer, who was pronounced dead at the scene. The shooter fled the scene in a blue Ford pickup truck, and police have not yet made any arrests.

Limmer’s sister, Jennifer Thomas, described him as someone who always tried to “fight for the little guy and do the right thing.” She expressed pride in her brother’s efforts to defuse the situation, saying, “Knowing Jeff, he’s the one who always says, ‘Calm down. It’s not that big of a deal,’ and divert the situation.”
