The teenage children of Jennifer Dulos, who vanished from her Connecticut home in 2019, delivered emotional statements at the sentencing of Michelle Troconis, their father’s girlfriend, on Friday.

Troconis was convicted of helping to plan and cover up Jennifer’s murder. The children, now aged 13 to 18, spoke publicly for the first time about the devastating impact of losing their mother.

“My mother was everything to me,” Jennifer’s eldest son, Petros Dulos, told the courtroom in Stamford, Connecticut. He described the gaping hole left in his life by his mother’s absence.

Petros and his siblings placed blame on Troconis for destroying their childhoods, with one stating, “Michelle is the reason why I am completely lost in the world.”

The children condemned Troconis for her cowardice and pleaded with her to reveal the location of Jennifer’s remains.

Prosecutors believe Jennifer’s estranged husband, Fotis Dulos, murdered her in 2019 and disposed of the body with Troconis’ assistance. Troconis faces a potential sentence of up to 50 years in prison.
