What Happened? On November 12th, 2017, Anna Meza, 31, was tragically shot on North Dillon Avenue in San Jacinto. Paramedics rushed to the scene, but sadly, Anna couldn’t be saved.

Cops Crack the Case! ️‍♂️ After a long investigation, the Riverside County Sheriff’s Department (RSD) finally identified and arrested 27-year-old Daniel Acevedo on April 12th.

What’s Next? ‍♀️ The motive for the killing remains a mystery, and authorities haven’t said if Acevedo even knew the victim. On April 15th, the Riverside County District Attorney’s Office slapped Acevedo with murder charges. ⚖️
