Maryanne Trump Bar­ry, the old­er sis­ter of Don­ald Trump, has passed away at her Man­hat­tan residence.

The cir­cum­stances sur­round­ing her death remain unclear, but reports con­firm the dis­cov­ery of her body on Mon­day morn­ing, rul­ing out foul play.

Maryanne Trump Bar­ry, a for­mer fed­er­al judge and esteemed attor­ney, had a sig­nif­i­cant influ­ence on Don­ald’s life. How­ev­er, their rela­tion­ship soured fol­low­ing his elec­tion as Pres­i­dent in 2016.

The rift between them became pub­lic knowl­edge in 2020 when Mary Trump, Maryan­ne’s niece, pub­licly crit­i­cized her uncle and released record­ings impli­cat­ing Maryanne in dis­parag­ing remarks about Donald.
