Mass Shooting Leaves Six Injured at Nashville Lounge

On Labor Day, a mass shoot­ing occurred at the Sky­Bar & Lounge in Anti­och, Ten­nessee, leav­ing six peo­ple injured. 

Accord­ing to the Metro Nashville Police Depart­ment, the inci­dent hap­pened around 3 a.m. in the lounge’s park­ing lot.

Victims Expected to Survive

One per­son was trans­port­ed to the hos­pi­tal by ambu­lance, while five oth­er vic­tims showed up at near­by hos­pi­tals in pri­vate vehi­cles. The police have stat­ed that the vic­tims are expect­ed to sur­vive their injuries.

Surveillance Footage Being Reviewed

The police are cur­rent­ly review­ing sur­veil­lance footage from the area in an effort to iden­ti­fy the sus­pect or sus­pects involved in the shoot­ing. No infor­ma­tion has been released about the per­son or per­sons respon­si­ble for the attack.

The Labor Day shoot­ing is the lat­est in a series of vio­lent inci­dents that have occurred in the Nashville area in recent years. 

The com­mu­ni­ty is once again left shak­en and con­cerned for the safe­ty of its res­i­dents. As the inves­ti­ga­tion con­tin­ues, the author­i­ties have assured the pub­lic that they are work­ing dili­gent­ly to bring those respon­si­ble to justice.
