Timmothy Pitzen, a boy who vanished 13 years ago at the age of 6, may be living in a remote Mormon commune without any knowledge of his true identity, according to his grandmother Linda Pitzen.

Timmothy was last seen on May 11, 2011 after his mother Amy Fry-Pitzen picked him up from school, taking him on a three-day trip before being found dead in a motel room. Fry-Pitzen left a suicide note saying Timmothy was “safe” but would “never be found.”

Linda Pitzen believes her daughter-in-law, who was raised in the Mormon faith, may have intentionally hidden Timmothy in a religious commune to ensure he was brought up within that community, even after her own death.

Timmothy’s childhood friend Hannah Soukup shares this theory, suggesting Fry-Pitzen changed Timmothy’s identity and isolated him from the internet and outside world so he would never discover his true origins.

The case has baffled authorities for over a decade, with no solid leads on Timmothy’s whereabouts. His family, including father Jim Pitzen, continues searching and holding out hope that the now 19-year-old is alive somewhere, despite the grim circumstances surrounding his disappearance.
