The search for answers continues in the mysterious disappearance of Riley Strain, a 20-year-old student at the University of Wisconsin-River Falls. Strain vanished during a spring break trip to Nashville and was later found deceased in the Cumberland River.

Adding a new layer to the case, Riley’s mom, Michelle Whiteid, shared a chilling text exchange she had with her son just before he went missing.

Whiteid revealed that Riley texted her about a rum and coke he ordered at a bar, saying it tasted “weird.” She advised him not to drink it, but Riley’s reply sent shivers down her spine: “Tastes like barbecue
 but not good.”

Authorities haven’t linked Strain’s death to the strange drink, but this new detail raises major questions. What happened to Riley that night? Did something sinister happen at the bar? The investigation continues as Riley’s family desperately seeks closure.
