A “media consultant” for former Trump prosecutor Nathan Wade interrupted a taped TV interview on CNN’s “The Source” as Wade was being questioned about the timeline of his relationship with Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis.

The bizarre exchange occurred after Wade revealed that he still “regularly speaks” with Willis and has told the embattled DA that the election interference case against former President Donald Trump “will live on” despite his removal from the investigation.

When host Kaitlan Collins asked Wade directly “When did the romantic relationship between the two of you start?”, Wade began to respond but was quickly interrupted by his apparent “media consultant” who approached the set and requested to speak with Wade off-camera.

The pair huddled together for nearly a minute, apparently discussing how to answer the straightforward timeline question. Wade later argued that the timeline is a “pending issue” before the Georgia Court of Appeals and that he does not want to “jeopardize the case or the court’s ruling”.

Both Wade and Willis have previously given conflicting timelines regarding the start and end of their romantic relationship, which has become a central issue in Trump’s appeal to disqualify Willis from prosecuting the election interference case due to an alleged conflict of interest.
