A New Jersey mother, Sue Quackenbush (63), is facing a third heartbreaking ordeal after her daughter, Danielle Quackenbush (37), vanished under suspicious circumstances in April 2024.

Danielle’s disappearance comes just five years after Ms. Quackenbush lost her son Eric to suicide (2015) and her son Michael, a Marine, in a car accident (2016).

Danielle was last seen on April 13th at a Wawa convenience store in Vincetown, New Jersey. Her car, a blue 2008 Hyundai Accent, was later discovered abandoned in Penn State Forest.

Fearing the worst, Ms. Quackenbush took to Facebook to describe Danielle as “sweet, creative, and loving.”

She expressed hope for a “miracle” and pleaded for “everyone’s prayers and wishes” for her daughter’s safe return. The distraught mother also shared her belief that the family might be “cursed” due to the string of tragedies.

The New Jersey State Police are actively investigating Danielle’s disappearance, with both the Missing Person’s Unit and Human Trafficking Unit involved.
