New Rochelle Man Arrested Again on Sex Charges Involving Teenagers

A New Rochelle man who was pre­vi­ous­ly accused of try­ing to coerce a boy into per­form­ing sex­u­al acts on video chats has been arrest­ed once again on sex charges involv­ing mul­ti­ple teenagers.

Fer­nan­do Rin­con, 52, faces charges of use of a child under 17 in a sex­u­al per­for­mance, as well as sec­ond- and third-degree crim­i­nal sex acts, all felonies.

His arrest was the result of a joint inves­ti­ga­tion by the New Rochelle police and the Westch­ester Dis­trict Attor­ney’s Office.

Rincon Previously Charged with Endangering Welfare of a Child

In April, Rin­con was charged with endan­ger­ing the wel­fare of a child after alleged­ly attempt­ing to per­suade a 12-year-old boy to expose him­self dur­ing video chats. At the time, he was also arrest­ed for pos­ses­sion of crack cocaine.

Rincon Held Without Bail

Rin­con is cur­rent­ly being held with­out bail at the coun­ty jail and is sched­uled to appear in New Rochelle City Court on Fri­day. His attor­ney has not yet pro­vid­ed a com­ment on the recent charges.
