A series of destructive tornadoes swept through Oklahoma on Saturday, resulting in the deaths of four people, including an infant, and leaving more than 100 others injured.

The tornadoes caused widespread damage across the state, with the town of Sulphur being hit particularly hard.

As emergency crews continue to search through the rubble, residents are beginning the arduous task of rebuilding their homes and communities.

The severity of the tornadoes has been classified as an EF‑3, with wind speeds reaching up to 165 miles per hour.

Oklahoma Governor J. Kevin Stitt has declared a state of emergency in response to the disaster, and the American Red Cross is on the ground providing assistance to those affected.

The tragic loss of life and destruction serves as a sobering reminder of the power of nature and the importance of preparedness and resilience in the face of extreme weather events.
