Plane Crash in Alaska! Two People Confirmed Dead

This Tues­day, a vin­tage plane went down near Fair­banks, Alas­ka. A Dou­glas DC‑4 Sky­mas­ter, usu­al­ly haul­ing car­go, took off but nev­er made it to its destination.

The plane slammed into the Tanana Riv­er just 7 miles south of the air­port and went up in flames. Sad­ly, no one on board sur­vived. R.I.P.

The cause of the crash is still under inves­ti­ga­tion. This is a major blow to the local com­mu­ni­ty and every­one who loves planes. Inves­ti­ga­tors are on the scene right now fig­ur­ing out what happened.
