Dude went down in flames this morning! A small plane crashed into a house in Augusta, Georgia, leaving the pilot RIP and the neighborhood shook. The FAA says it was a single-engine Beechcraft 36 that went down around 7:10 AM.

**Pilot avoided houses like a total boss! ** Even though the plane crashed hard, witnesses say the pilot went all superhero and steered away from hitting any homes. There were no injuries on the ground, but the plane itself looks toast.

**This pilot was a college hero too! ** Turns out the pilot was Jason McKenzie, a big-time fundraiser at Augusta University. Everyone who knew him is saying he was the best. The school says they’re keeping his family and friends in their thoughts.

**Investigators on the scene like ** The FAA and NTSB are on the job to figure out what caused the crash. We’ll update you if we hear anything new.

In the meantime, stay safe out there! Plane crashes aren’t exactly the most common thing, but hey, always good to be careful.
